Uses: 
Viralys (L-Lysine) is a highly palatable gel and used as a nutritional supplement for conditions responsive to Lysine in cats and kittens. Lysine gel is also recommended by ophthalmologists to help manage FHV-1 (Feline Herpes Virus) symptoms - reduces viral shedding and decreases severity of eye symptoms associated with Feline Herpes Virus infection.

Availability: 
Viralys (L-Lysine) is a non-prescription over-the-counter (OTC) product.

How to use:
Place a small amount of Viralys gel on cat's nose to stimulate taste interest. Once initial interest has been established, gel may be administered from a syringe or teaspoon. Each 1.25 ml (1/4 teaspoon) contains 250 mg of L-Lysine in a palatable use. The suggested dose for cats over 6 months of age is 1.25 ml (1/4 teaspoon) given orally twice daily. The suggested dose for kittens under 6 months of age is 0.65 ml (1/8 teaspoon) given orally twice daily. Adjust dosage as needed.
