| For vaccination of healthy dogs as an aid in the prevention of Canine Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, respiratory disease caused by Canine Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus infections. For healthy dogs 9 weeks of age. Revaciinate every 2-4 weeks until 18 weeks of age. For dogs over 18 weeks give initial vaccination and revaccinate once 2-4 weeks later. Revaccinate once every year. Rehydrate the dried vaccine with the accompanying vial of liquid. Shake well and administer the contents (1 ml) IM or SC. Syringe included. |

Active Ingredients: Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus Vaccine, Modified Live and Killed Virus (gentamicin and amphotericin B added as preservatives)
Uses: Univac 5 is recommended for use in the vaccination of healthy dogs against disease caused by Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Canine Parvovirus and Respiratory Disease caused by Canine Adenovirus Type 2 and Parainfluenza.
Availability: Available OTC (non-prescription) as a single dose.
How to use: Using aseptic technique inject the vial of liquid product into the vial containing the vaccine cake. Shake well. Remove the entire contents back into the syringe. Push out any trapped air. Administer the entire contents (1 ml) intramuscularly into the large muscle of a hind limb or subcutaneously under loose skin at the back of the neck. Ideally, puppies should be vaccinated at 9 weeks of age with revaccination every2 to 4 weeks until at least 18 weeks of age. Dogs vaccinated after 18 weeks of age should receive a 1 ml dose followed by a 1 ml dose 2 to 4 weeks later. Annual revaccination with a single 1 ml dose is recommended.
Side effects: In case of anaphylactic reaction administer epinephrine.
Precautions: This product is for intramuscular or subcutaneous use only. Do not inject into a blood vessel. Do not vaccinate pregnant bitches. Use entire contents when first rehydrated.

Storage: Store this product in a refrigerator at 35° to 45°F. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.
