Availability: Lipo-Form chewable tablets are available as a non-prescription over-the-counter (OTC) product.
How to use: Feed free choice, from the hand or crumble and mix into the food. As an aid in the prevention of dietary deficiencies, give one tablet daily for each 22 pounds (10 kilograms) of body weight. As an aid in the correction of dietary deficiencies, give one tablet daily for each 11 pounds (5 kilograms) of body weight. In severe cases, increase the dosage level, preferably by giving twice daily. Individualize the dose according to the extent and degree of liver degeneration, age and condition of the animal being treated.
Side effects: There are no reported side effects.
Precautions: Avoid prolonged excessive dosage administration. In rare cases animals may experience gastrointestinal irritation. In the event of stomach upset, administer tablets during or after feeding.
In the event of overdose If overdose is suspected, contact a veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital.
