Brand Name: Ivomec 1% (Merial)
Active Ingredients: Ivermectin 10mg/ml Sterile Solution.
Uses: Ivomec is used for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites of Cattle and Swine, such as gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, grubs, sucking lice, and mange mites in cattle, and gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mange mites in swine.
Availability: Ivomec is a non-prescription product and available over-the-counter (OTC) as a 50 ml vial.
How to use: The recommended dose in cattle is 1 ml per 110 lbs of body weight administered subcutaneously, and recommended dose in swine is 1 ml per 75 lbs of body weight administered subcutaneously. Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasiticism.
Side effects: Transitory discomfort has been observed in some cattle following subcutaneous administration. A low incidence of tissue swelling at the injection site has been observed. Observe cattle for injection site reactions which may be due to infection. Consult your veterinarian.
Precautions: This product is for subcutaneous use only. This product should not be used in animal species other than cattle, swine, reindeer and the American bison.
Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital.
Storage: Store this product at room temperature. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
