Uses:

Greenies is a non-prescription over-the-counter (OTC) product.

How to use:
Greenies are not recommended for dogs less than 5 lbs or dogs less than 6 months of age. 5 lbs. Greenies are available in five different sizes: Teenie - for dogs 5-15 lbs., Petite - for dogs 15-25 lbs., Regular - for dogs 25-50 lbs., Large - for dogs 50-100 lbs., and Jumbo - for dogs over 100 lbs. Feed 1 Greenies per day. Always use correct size for your dog’s weight, as indicated above. As with any treat, fresh drinking water should always be available.

Side effects:
A greenish color in the dog’s stool is a normal and harmless result of consuming chlorophyll.

Precautions:
If obesity is a concern, reduce food intake. It is recommended that the amount of regular diet fed be decreased by 10% to account for the added calories in the treat. Offer water after feeding and make sure the product is adequately chewed. As with any edible product, monitor your dog to ensure the treat is adequately chewed. Gulping any item can be harmful or even fatal to a dog.

Overdose:
If overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital. Overdose feedings may result in gastric upset and diarrhea.
