Availability:
Glyco-Flex for Cats is a non-prescription over-the-counter (OTC) product.
How to use:
Recommended initial dose (4-6 weeks) in cats 1-8 lbs is 1 tablet daily, and for cats over 8 lbs is 2 tablets daily. After initial dose the number of tablets per day may be reduced to a maintenance level of ½ tablet daily for cats 1 to 8 lbs and 1 tablet daily for cats over 8 lbs. If giving mare then 1 tablet, divide between AM and PM. The tablet may be crumbled onto food or given as a delicious treat. As with any animal supplementation, correct and consistent administration is essential.
Side effects:
Side effects are rare but may include diarrhea.
Precautions:
This product is for veterinary use in cats only and is not intended to be used in place of other treatments in the presence of an infection, or if surgery is needed. This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental purposes only.
Overdose:
If overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital.
