Frontline Plus provides fast and convenient treatment for dogs and puppies 8 weeks or older, killing 100% of adult fleas within 18 hours and 100% of ticks within 48 hours, it also contains a special ingredient that kills flea eggs and larvae to keep all stages of fleas from developing. Frontline Plus kills all stages of deer ticks (which may carry Lyme disease), brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks, and chewing lice. One easy application preventing re-infestation and remains effective after bathing or swimming.
Availability: Frontline Plus is a non-prescription, over-the-counter (OTC) product and available in different sizes, 3 or 6 month supply. For small dogs and puppies 8 weeks or older and up to 22 lbs, medium dogs 23- 44 lbs, large dogs 45-88 lbs, and extra large dogs 89-132 lbs.
How to use: Do not get this product in the pet’s eyes or mouth. Read entire package insert for full direction before use. Place applicator tip through the animal’s hair to the skin level between the shoulder blades and squeeze to apply the entire contents of the applicator in a single spot to the animal’s skin.
Side effects: Pets may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of application, consult a veterinarian immediately.
Precautions: For external use only. Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks of age. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated, debilitated, or geriatric animals. Hazard to humans. If in eyes: Flush with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a doctor if irritation persists. If on skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If swallowed: Call poison control center or doctor immediately. Have person sip a glass of water. Do not induce vomiting unless advised by a poison control center or a doctor.
Overdose: Overdose and adverse effects are very rare. If overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Do not reuse container. Place used container in trash or offer for recycling. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
