Uses:
EctoKyl CA Flea and Tick Shampoo kill fleas and ticks on contact, providing rapid knockdown activity without elevated toxicity exposure for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens 12 weeks of age and over. Mild shampoo base produce no sticky residue, rinses clean with a fresh scent, and leaves pet smelling fresh and clean.
Availability:
Ecktokyl CA Flea and Tick Shampoo is a non-prescription over-the counter (OTC) product.
How to use:
Read entire label before use. Wet pet’s coat with water and apply shampoo to the back of the pet from head to tail, making sure to keep the shampoo out of pet’s eyes. Work shampoo into a lather, apply more shampoo if needed to the chest and legs, paying attention to the foot pads (especially between the toes), the base of the tail, and the under body areas. After the pet’s body is fully covered with lather, refrain from rinsing for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.
Side effects:
Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur contact your veterinarian.
Precautions:
This product is for use on dogs and cats only. Do not use on puppies and kittens less than 12 weeks of age. Hazard to humans. If swallowed: Get medical attention immediately. Drink promptly a large quantity of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution, or if these are not available, drink large quantities of water. Avoid alcohol. If on the skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If Inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air. Get medical attention. If in eyes: This product can cause substantial, but temporary eye injury. Hold eyelids open and flush with steady , gentle stream of water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Overdose:
If overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place. Rinse container with water. Dispose this product by wrapping in several layers of newspaper with closed cap, and discard in trash. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
