Active Ingredients: Pyrethrins 0.15%, Piperonyl butoxide, technical (1.50%, N-Octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide 0.50%, Other ingredients 97.85%.
Uses: Adams Flea and Tick Shampoo is concentrated, rich lathering shampoo for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens 12 weeks of age or older. Kills fleas, ticks, and repels lice after shampooing. Also cleans, deodorizes, conditions, and gives hair coat a brighter luster.
Availability: Adams Flea and Tick Shampoo is a non-prescription over-the-counter (OTC) product.
How to use: Read entire label before use. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Thoroughly soak your pet with warm water for 2-3 minutes to wet hair. First apply Adams Flea and Tick Shampoo on head and ears and lather, and repeat procedure with neck, chest, middle, and hindquarters, finishing legs last. Let your pet stand for 3-5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Repeat every 2 weeks. For extremely dirty or scaly pets the above procedure may be repeated.
Side effects: This product is harmful to humans if swallowed or inhaled. Avoid breathing fume. Avoid contamination of food. Wash hands with soap and water after using.
Precautions: For external use only. Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks of age. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated, debilitated, or geriatric animals. Hazard to humans. If in eyes: Flush with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a doctor if irritation persists. If on skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If swallowed: Call poison control center or doctor immediately. Have person sip a glass of water. Do not induce vomiting unless advised by a poison control center or a doctor.
Overdose: If overdose or sensitivity is suspected, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs persist, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital immediately.
Storage: Store this product in a cool, dry area away from heat and open flame. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Do not reuse this container. To dispose this container, place in trash or offer for recycling if available. Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets.
